Great Improvement!

I finally made the jump up to sonic cleaning from tumbling and I have to say it is so much easier and cleaner! You should experiment with the amount of time and amount of shells to achieve best results and you’re all set!
Highly recommend.

does a great job

Just did 450 rounds of once fired 357mag using One Shot Brass Solution mixed per instructions (1 oz to 40 oz water); I used filtered and R-O water. Brass came out very clean with no spotting; primer pockets and flash holes were all good as well. Did 3 sessions @ 20 min of 150 rounds per session, and the solution was pretty cruddy when done with a good amount of solids at the bottom, so for the cost I will say that's about my limit for one mix of solution. I have used just citric acid and water with soaking and shaking in the past, but this far exceeds that for cleaning. Very Satisified.

Works as expexted

Cleans brass quite well. I tested on some years old 44 mag brass that was in bad shape. It came out nicely clean. I still had to clean a few primer pockets after drying, but not a big issue. If you had seen how nasty this old brass was you'd be amazed. It doesn't polish your brass if that's what your looking for. However, I ran a batch of once fired 7mm-08 brass (50 rounds) that were new about a month ago, through the cleaner and they came out great, including the primer pockets.

Works great on small primer brass

By BRUCE B. on Jan 27, 2020
Mine worked well --without heat, cleaning the outside of my small primer Peterson brass in less than 15 minutes perfectly, and all I had to do was twist a cotton swab in the pockets a few times to do the final clean up and drying and the pockets were ready to go.
The large Peterson primer pockets did not clean up as well. but were probably clean enough to seat a primer. I did a final touch up with a Hornady reamer. The next test was to see if the inside of the brass got clean. The necks got clean, but the inside of the case did not. I ran some batches for 20 minutes, but they were still dirty with old powder. I think if I run them on the heated cycle and use the Sonic Cleaner -all the time- it might remove the residue in time.
Finally I just dried the cases off with a cloth and put them back in the ammo boxes and dried them with a hair dryer for 3-4 minutes. It takes all the dirty work out of cleaning brass, so I can spend more time on more important details of prepping the brass.

Doesn't work well without heat

By Derek S. on Apr 14, 2015
I have to do at least two 30 minute sessions with heat to get my brass marginally clean. The first session the heater does not even make it to full power, so I have to do a second session for the heater to max out. It is next to useless without heat. I will experiment more with gun parts and see how it does with them. Hasn't come near meeting my expectations so far.
