RCBS SB die w/taper crimp & new Starline brass

Working with new Starline .300 AAC brass, I first dropped 10 empty cases into a Lyman ammo checker & found the cases to sit slightly below flush, flush, or slightly above flush in the ammo checker. No cases fell out when turning the ammo checker upside down. Then I resized the cases with a RCBS .300 AAC sizer die (cases sprayed w/Hornady 1 Shot and necks lubed with mica) and found that all 10 tested cases dropped into the ammo checker below flush and all effortlessly dropped out of the ammo checker when it was turned upside down. Measuring the case necks, the body of the case behind the shoulder and just above the extractor groove, I found the brass reduced .001 in each of these places. The RCBS die is very good, just like the other 19 RCBS die sets I own.
