I use this bullet in my .300 Savage! It is a real performer,, great accuracy and no feed issues in the 99 Savage. Thanks to Graf and Sons , I can bring this cartridge back to life!

Love these bullets! Really like being able to fine tune these bullets to fit my 45 year old Marlin 336 bore, Improved performance and greater Max Point Blank Range is like getting a new rifle! thanks Hornady and Grafs!

Great bullet, but not for 300 blk

I bought these for some 300 blk handloads. The only issue is that the shape does not allow for an overall length that will work with normal AA1680 powder charges. I will still be able to use them for some subsonics with pistol powders, so I am still excited to see what they do.

I retired my old 30-30 for years and my grandson wanted to shoot it for deer season but he could not get a good group so we loaded up some of this ftx and did a little load development and now he’s shooting very good groups and he took his first deer with it; So I may have lost my 30-30 but for a kid to get his first deer it may be worthwhile

I have shot 30-30 Winchester 94's and Marlin 336's for decades but can no longer see open sights well enough to ethically hunt deer. Now with a scoped Marlin 336C I can see well and place these handloaded FTX bullets into full magazine 3 inch groups at 200 yards. My effective point blank range with my Marlin is now 250 yards using max published loads of Lever Evolution powder. Drops big deer and cow elk with good shot placement. Just the ticket for real world hunting with a 30-30. Very good bullet performance on the handful of game I've shot with it.

Excellent accuracy and extended my kill range to 300 yards with my Winchester 94AE. I have consistently rung an 18-inch metal plate with the highest setting on the rear sight at over 500 yards when they first came out. Outstanding! USMC Rifle Expert 1969.

I load all of my own ammunition and for my 3030 this is the best bullet I've found for white tail deer I have used in my Henry rifle. It also performs well in my 308 and 3036 with proper loading.

Can't wait to reload 30-30 WIN with these bullets! Price was economical and shipping time was okay, considering the pandemic. Read nothing but good things about the capability of these bullets when paired with LVR powder.

I have been impressed with Hornady's efforts to make spitzer like bullets for these old cartridges. I loaded this bullet in new brass for my Win 94 and have not been disappointed in the performance. Thanks for giving this some reach that it never had.

Although Hornady advertised this bullet used with IMR 8208 would make a .30-30 a tack driver, I assume this is achieved using a scope on the rifle, but since I shoot open sights, tack driving accuracy is not there for me, but I achieve unbelievable accuracy without a scope. Formally, when I went deer hunting, I always grabbed my Winchester Mod 70 because the factory bullets for my Winchester 94 .30-30 were always fliers. If I got any on paper I counted myself lucky. After I started using the combination recommended by Hornady, I can hit an eight inch steel gong at two hundred yards with every shot.

They provide a real performance boost to the 30-30. and they expand at lower velocities which increases the range.

I started loading the FTX for my Marlin 336C and was amazed at both accuracy (3/4"@100) and the extended range (225+ effective) Loading data was hard to find but 28.5 grains Reloder15 performed just like everyone claimed. Hornady has always been my favorite projectile maker and the FTX is a solid addition to their already impressive selection...
