This is great. It will hold 223 or similar just not firmly. I use this to carry rounds that are different in some way. When working up loads I make a paper with what each round is and put it in with the ammo. I can go up by 1/10 of a grain and not worry about a mix up. Then the brass goes back in order for inspection upon resizing. I load for ex military, subsonic loads and they can tell me what works best. It is easy to carry and shuts with a good grip. Easier to carry and store than a box.
