Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Prvi Partizan Brass 5.56 NATO Unprimed Bag of 50

By Rick B. on Jan 09, 2023
I had reloaded about 1000 cases of Winchester brass (not purchased from G&S) for my 300 WSM and had way too many issues with them- short cases, cracked or creased necks etc.so when I setup for reloading my AR-15 in .223 Wilde I decided to try the Prvi. In the Winchester brass 10% were short and in total about 15% were unusable. I Contacted Winchester service and never received a response. After sorting, trimming and priming the Prvi brass I only had 3 cases with issues (shorts} out of 500! Will certainly buy again! Thanks to G&S for the great service and products!

Forming PPU

By Tom C. on Dec 13, 2022
Formed this new brass into 20 tactical using grafs 2 step redding die set. Performed exceptionally well, try a little dillon spray lube to keep lube buildup at a minimum. Great product ....

Good brass

Consistent, and reliable brass

PPU 556 Brass

By David Z. on Oct 01, 2022
Nice Brass. Very little prep needed and all cases were in great condition and so far no trimming needed. I only loaded a few ladder rounds and the primer pockets were fine, didn't seem tight to me like others have mentioned. Very good brass. Buy with confidence.

I've loaded many different calibers of PPU brass, never had an issue. It is reasonably priced and consistent in quality. The 5.56 is no exception. My Go-To Brass!!

PPU 5.56 new brass

By Michael G. on Aug 08, 2020
I have yet to shoot this so I'm only giving the product 4 stars. Prepping it with case lube and neck graphite, then resizing it with an RCBS .223 small base die was easy. The cases needed little or no trimming to get to 1.750" (Hornady & Speer trim-to length). You can tell the necks were annealed by their blue/silver color. The price was very reasonable. I would buy this again if I can't get once-fired cases cheaper.

Great quality for the price!

This brass is excellent, always consistent cartridge weight, and brass thickness. They required less prep work compared to other brands I've used. I've reloaded one set of this PPU 5.56 brass 5 times now, and no issues whatsoever. Primer pockets stay consistent as well. Really hard to go wrong with this brass.

PPU 5.56 Brass

By Casey L. on Jul 30, 2020
Excellent Brass. I use these to make 20 Practical and they perform wonderfully! As for the few tight primer pockets others talk about, doesn’t bother me one bit. Tighter is better... No complaints here. Will definitely buy them again.

Quality brass, primer pockets are a little tight on a few like others have mentioned but nothing extreme. I will definitely buy again when I need more.

High quality - ideal for precision rodent shooting

By S Peter P. on Jul 04, 2020
Very uniform neck wall thickness about .001 - easily cleaned up with minor turning. Primer pockets uniform with centered flash holes, width and depth - no primer protrusion. Brass was length uniform and easily trimmed to 1.75. Redding body die & Lee collet & seater die were used to load up 200 for use against rodents with 53 VMax's, CCI 450's & IMR8208.

Superb Quality

Some primer pockets are tighter than others.

Good brass for the money

Good brass for the money but the primer pockets are very tight.

Excellent quality

By Robert W. on Jan 24, 2019
My expander ball says there's a little variation in neck thickness. A few, perhaps 5/50 didn't drag on the ball when lowering the ram, but were still sized enough to put good tension on the bullet. Primer pockets are fairly uniform, a little rounded on the bottom outer edges and the flash hole has a bit of a burr inside that needs removed. I'd rather buy larger quantities, but sometimes 50 is all you need!
