Product Information

New for 2020, now includes Powder Measure Bottle Adapter

Lee Perfect Powder Measure is best for reloading rifle cases, can also be used for pistol cases.

Best for reloading rifle cases. Throws charges from 2 to over 100 grains. Eliminates Cut Powder and Jerky Action. A soft elastomer wiper strikes off the metering chamber rather than cut the powder. You'll be surprised at how smoothly the rotor operates. More importantly, you will enjoy the most uniform of charges.

Meaningful Calibration A micrometer adjuster that reads directly in cubic centimeters. Just multiply the charge in grains by the cc for one grain and you have the setting. So very much better than a meaningless setting as most supply.

Versatile The metering chamber is the proper size for large rifle charges and the strike off opening small enough to work well with pistol size charges. The Lee Perfect Powder Measure works fine for charges from two grains to over 100 grains.

I ordered this powder measure and started using it and was surprised how accurate it is at a great price I highly recommend it

Bad Design

By Harry C. on Mar 07, 2024
I'm very disappointed with this powder measure. It does give you the option of screwing on a 1 pound bottle of Accurate or Hodgdon powder but not all of us use those powders. What makes me very angry with this powder measure is, is when your powder gets low, you have to stop what you are doing, take it all apart and then add powder to it; you can't add powder to it as you go like the old design. It would have been a lot simpler to just put a powder filling hole with a stopper at the top of the powder bottle like the MEC 600 Jr. press bottles have.

Great for handgun reloading

Easy to set up and easy to use. Repeatability is sufficient for handgun reload accuracy.

Good buy.

These are inexpensive and they work well. Not so great with extruded powder. Throws ball powder accurately.

Works great!

I love this thing. It measures my mouse fart loads of 10gr of unique right on the money every time I am super impressed. Saves me a ton of time and for 25 bucks you just can't beat it!

Great product. It speeds up the process of charging rounds. I would recommend it to all.

Excellent for Production; Not So Hot for Development

By Leon G. on Apr 30, 2020
I have several of these inexpensive Lee powder measures set up for specific powder and charge settings.

I use my Redding 3BR and Lee Classic (earlier cast iron version) for load development. Once I lock in a load for a particular powder and charge I adjust a Lee Perfect powder measure to that setting, label the measure accordingly, and leave it at that setting.

The big plus is that this measure throws remarkably consistent charges for the powders I use: Rel 17 (Swiss 7.5x55), Rel 22 (Swedish Mauser), Vihta Vuori N140 (Finn M39, M28/76), N150 (Garand 30-06, 6.5 Creedmor), N165 (Swedish Mauser). With other types of powder, YMMV. But with these the throws are very close. I weigh every charge; typically 70-80% of my throws are dead on, or within 2-4 granules (that's granules, not grains!) of zeroing my balance scale.

The Lee Perfect powder measure's adjuster is physically annoying. The adjuster on the Lee metallic powder measure is much, much easier to manipulate. So once I set the Lee Perfect powder measure, I Ieave it. So at the low price, you can have a dedicated powder measure that, once set up, is always ready for your next batch of reloads, with no time lost readjustng the measure.

Better than dippers

By Jerry L. on May 26, 2012
Not really repeatable at all. Using with Unique & Tight Group powders. Would not trust with Tight Group at all. Better than dippers, but I use it in the same way; I drop a charge into my scale pan and weigh every charge. My father bought one at the same time and had the same experience.
