Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Works as it should

Brass looks good but is a little on the soft side. Flat base bullets push the side of the neck out on one side as they seat and leave the bullet loose. Crimp die fixes some of it.

I have never used PPU, but I am sold. Very pleased with the quality.

Good Brass

By Gary M. on Feb 15, 2023
Good for hunting, sizes well but the flash holes need to be opened up with a flash hole uniformer.

Pleased so far with PPU 25-06 brass

By James C. on Feb 09, 2023
I will echo what others have said. It appears to be quality brass, in spec for length, easily sized. The only thing I noticed is that the flash holes appear to be slightly undersized when I prepped the brass, but not significantly.

25 06 P P U brass

By Richard D. on Feb 08, 2023
Have bought 100 cases of P P U brass . Have checked only 20 of them and seem ok . Wall thickness isn't on par with lapua, or noslar . But you can't even find these nor Sierra match kings
Couple of firing will tell

PPU 25-06

By Dale O. on Jan 30, 2023
Out of the package the lengths were mostly even, but the flash holes had a lot burs in them. I trimmed all to the same minimum trim length in order to use the Lyman flash hole de-burring tool to fix this problem. All flash holes appeared to be centered, and well sized. Cases seemed to be very uniform other than this problem. For the cost compared to the only other available 25-06 brass available the work was worth it for the results. I would buy this again.

PPU 7mm Mauser brass

By Curt C. on Jan 29, 2023
Purchased to resize and fireform 257 Roberts brass. No issues at all.
All of my rifles are sub 1/2" shooters. I've had problems with the so called high end brass that costs more than twice what PPU costs.
I changed a couple of rifles over to PPU brass and the groups are every bit as good as with "quality" brass.
I also push the envelope with stretching max loads and have no problem with loose primer pockets as I've had with other brass in the past.

Appears to be quality brass

By Steve S. on Jan 17, 2023
I bought it to resize to 6.5-06 and it has worked fine so far. After uniforming primer pockets and flash holes. I’m hopeful.

Top quality brass

Great quality brass. Used it for my 25-06 pest loads. Will order more.

PPU brass

By William W. on Dec 24, 2022
The .25-'06 PPU brass lived up to the high standards I have come to expect from PPU products. I was happy to find it available in this time of shortages.

Top quality brass from Serbia

By Dennis K. on Nov 16, 2022
If you're a reloader you know the problems we've had finding new brass. And the past year SCAMMERS are everywhere on the Internet claiming to have the product. I researched Graf and Sons to find a 100% solid rating for decades out of the Midwest. No one else has had 25-06 brass the past year. I was uncertain about the company PPU brass to find out they have been making brass for a long time. Even being bombed out several times during WWII it didn't stop them. My advice is to buy now because the price will go up. Serbia brass gets high recommendations on the Internet.
