Bravo

By Raymond K. on Sep 25, 2018
This press is very compact and well built. A cut above other Lee progressive presses and it shows a new direction Lee is taking under John's supervision. Do not let the plastic parts throw you. All critical areas are metal. Even the center ram carrier assembly has steel under the plastic covering plate. This press is comparable to the Dillon Square Deal but is much less expensive and much easier and faster to change calibers. At this price you could actually buy two or three of these presses for what a Dillon would cost and leave the dies in them already set up as crazy as that sounds. Simply move the primer feed and powder measure and other peripherals to each press you are using. I've used mine as a single station or batch loader like a turret or full on progressive. Extremely versatile press. You want options? You have them here. They've hit a home run with this one.

Very Good Progressive

I was looking to upgrade my press after joining a shooting club. I looked at Dillon Square Deal, Hornady, RCBS but chose Lee for the price. Very good press. After setting up the dies, I loaded 600 rounds of 45 acp and 400 rounds of 38 super w/o a hiccup. Set-up is very easy. Case inserter is reliable. Indexing is superb. No primer misloads. The other great thing is the price. You could buy 2 of these for the price of one Square Deal. I'm getting another for my 44 special. Great work Lee. You finally hit the bullseye with this press. Just hoping you can come up with a true 5 station or 7 station progressive press. 4 thumbs up on this product !!!!
