PPU comes through

Happy PPU is making this brass. Gives hope to a formerly obsolete cartridge. Paired with PPU components (projectiles) I have a way to feed the M95 that was previously a safe queen.

PPU brass works! I’ m very happy that Grafs makes 8x56R available. Hand loading is now the only way to keep M95’s running and they are fun to shoot.

I've used PPU brass in the past and found it to be of good quality. Great thing is they make lots of obscure brass. I used this to form 8x50 Austrian.

I use a lot of PPU brass. It's not the best, but I seem to get the most reloads per dollar, in using it. I bought these 8x56r, for trimming down into 8x50r, for my old Steyr m88. I usually get 5-7 loads through these, depending on how I size. These last longer, because of the excellent rim diameter, which keeps them centered in chamber, less ovaling to stress them. I easily get double the life of fireformed 7.62x54r.

Not a bad price for an oddball cartridge. Fit my M95 well when loaded with PPU bullets.
