BARNES 6.5(.264) 145gr BT BULLET MATCH-BURNER 100/b

These are excellent bullets. They have a listed G1 BC of .703. I’ve been testing them in a 1:8 6.5 creedmoor and I’ve had mixed luck. This is the bullet I hoped would work for me. I’ve tried a couple powders (superformance, N100V) and I have 6.5 Staball to test. My had good accuracy out of these, but not exactly what I’m looking for. I’m going to experiment with seating depth and “jump” next. I’m currently testing .015”. I’m going to move them back and test again. (Lapua large primer brass with Winchester WLR primers). I’ve seen 2725+ fps out of these so far. If I can get the accuracy fine tuned I think they will be winners. I recommend testing them, particularly if you plan to shoot long range with your 6.5 (1,000 yards plus).
