Too soft

I shot these out of a hot 6.5 wildcat at 3300 plus. Whitetail deer at 300 yards.Impact velocity of 2800. Quartering to shot and high shoulder. The bullet smashed the shoulder blade but stopped there. Did not get inside the chest cavity. Killed the deer but think about somebody load these to go elk hunting? Trail of tears. Our great game animals deserve better. Maybe ok in a creed or 260 at long range but in any magnum you had better be shooting 500 plus. They say long range but I never have been able to telegraph to an animal at what range to show. Use the regular accubond and forget these. Better yet the new federal terminal ascent. It seems federal is the only company that has the brains to make an all range bullet!!!
Finicky at first

At first I was only getting decent accuracy with these. They require some experimenting to get them to shoot accurately. Seating depth seemed to be the biggest determining factor, and somewhere around .100" jump, +/-, is usually near the sweet spot. Once dialed in they are quite capable of sub half MOA or better. On game experience is limited but 2 whitetail at 75 yards and 325 yards resulted in two very fast deaths. Neither went more than 40 yards. Both had exit wounds around the size of a quarter with massive trauma inside. This from a 6.5 PRC running them at 3030 fps. I will continue to use them, but I feel the standard accubond is easier to work with, just as accurate, and every bit as lethal. I'd assume that shooting them WAY out there, and they will out perform the standard Accubond.

I was able to turn moa groups with this bullet out of my 6.5PRC. had SDs in the low teens with US869 powder. Accubonds have always performed well for me on game.

It's a decent bullet. I measured the OAL & BTO on 10 bullets and found a 0.007" / 0.004" difference. Compared to a 140 gr SMK and Berger 140 gr VLD which measured 0.004" / 0.001" difference. The QA/QC on the Nosler bullet is not as good as the SMK and VLD. The 500 yd. (5) shot with the 140 ABLR was 0.685 MOA compared to the Berger VLD at 0.228 MOA .

Could not get the ES or SD down where the Hornady ELD X does out of my .260 Remington using H4350. Love to shoot a bonded bullet but no dice.
